چکیده
Reducing chemical fertilizers is critical for maintaining soil health and minimizing environmental damage. Biochar-based organic reduce fertilizer inputs, improve fertility, increase crop productivity, risks. In this study, a pot experiment was conducted in greenhouse to assess the potential of biochar-based inorganic fertility Okra yield. Seven treatments with three replicates were arranged completely randomized design (CRD). Three included biochar-blended formulations (i) biochar mixed mineral NPK (BF), (ii) vermicompost (BV), (iii) goat manure (BM); two enrichment (iv) enriched cow urine (BCU) (v) aqueous solution (BFW), remaining control treatments; (vi) (CK: no fertilizers) (vii) fertilized (F: only recommended biochar). Mineral BF, BFW, F applied at rate as urea, di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), muriate potash (MOP). Organic BV, BM, BCU equal quantities. All biochar-amended showed improved properties higher pH, carbon, total N, available P K compared non-biochar plots (CK F). Biochar blended (BM) highest effect on fruit BM (51.8 t ha−1) increased yield by 89% over CK (27.4 88% (27 ha−1). Similarly, urine-enriched (35 29% 28% F, respectively. Soil OC, nutrient availability (total P, K) significantly positive relationship The study suggests that using fertilizers, such could outperform (F) produce yields healthy soils, thereby contributing mitigating current food security concerns country.

متن کاملInfluence of Cellulolytic Bacterial Augmentation on Organic Carbon and Available Phosphorus in Sandy Loam Soil under Cultivation
Microorganisms are major key players for sustaining the soil quality degraded by intensive use of synthetic chemicals for increasing crop production and therefore, use of them as inoculants or biofertilizers is an integral part of sustainable agriculture. An effort was, therefore, made to examine the effect of cellulose degrading bacterial isolates on legume (Chickpea) based cropping systems. N...
متن کاملEffect of Acidic Biochars on Some Chemical Properties and Nutrient Availabilities of Calcareous Soils
Low organic matter content and alkaline pH of calcareous soils in arid and semi-arid regions are the main reasons for the low nutrient availabilities for plants in these soils. One way to improve the chemical properties and fertility of calcareous soils is the application of organic substances such as biochar produced from pyrolysis of organic wastes. However, biochars have an almost predominan...

Infiltration rate and porosity of sandy loam soil amended separately with goatyard manure (GYM) and poultry waste at 30, 50 and 70 tonnes/hectare each were investigated and the results were statistically analyzed using SPSS ver 17 package. Infiltration rates under GYM amendment and poultry waste amendment showed significant difference (p≤0.01), indicating that the variation of infiltration unde...
